The Allen Institute is an independent non-profit medical research organization that is best know for its mapping of the mouse brain. Its current projects include creating a map of the human brain which will show what genes are active at any given location in the adult human brain. This was such an interesting interview. I am not a scientist....just a grandmother of 10 who is passionately interested in learning how our brains are shaped and how they work.
